Shift Lock

My car was towed because I parked in an apartment complex and when I retrieved the vehicle from the tow lot I could not shift into reverse without pressing down on the shift lock release. How can I fix the shift lock without having to keep pressing the release button? Thanks All. #TeamAC'

Welcome to the forums.

I deleted the two exact duplicate threads you posted in the New Member Intro Forum since you also posted it here, which is where it belongs since it is a technical question and not an intro.

Did you check your brake lights?
