Service Question

Hey guys. I just picked up my TL a couple weeks ago and i had a question about the service. I tried searching for this topic and couldn't find it...couple questions:

1) I bought my TL from a dealer about 75 miles away because it was the only dealer who had a 5AT NBP/Quartz w/navi....If I have any problems with my TL, like warranty related, etc. that you would normally bring the car back to the dealer; would I have to take it back to THAT dealer, or can i take it to the nearest Acura Dealer near me??? Hopefully I won'thave any problems, but just in case, I hope I can take it to any acura dealer.

2) My contract doesn't speciify it at all and I don't think its a STANDARD for Acura, but some of you mentioned getting loaner cars from the dealer? Is this a standard service, where if htere is a warranty-related problem they give you a loaner car? What about for other types of service? Also, would I have to go to the same dealer I purchsaed from for this? (see question 1)

Thanks for your help and I look fowrward to being a member of the community.

Welcome...

Welcome to the forum.

1. You could take your car to any Acura dealers, they will service your car. But some ppl do mention that your original dealer sometimes would treat you better.

2. The loaner car or rental car are the curtsey service from dealers, they usually provide the substitute in compensation of the inconvenience you've suffered. Usually they would give it to you when the service takes longer than hours (2-4 hours).

BTW, loaners can be a relatively new TSX, a previous generation TL, or whatever monstrosity the local Enterprise has on offer. Either way, you'll be glad to get your TL back!
