service minder reset

so ive read how you can reset the service minder if you perform your own maintenance.

i have a question regarding what it resets.

My 2006 TL with 30k mi is asking for B12 service, but i go ahead and perform a B123 (include transmission fluid change). when i reset the service minder, does the computer know that i changed the transmission fluid even though it didnt ask for it? are the sensors/computer really smart enough to know that there is new, clean fluid in the transmission?

heres a link of the maintenance codes:

thanks guys.

im sure someone will ask why i want to change the AT fluid at 30k instead of the recommended 60k. dont worry about it
