Hey all;

After searching the forums, and checking the Helm site, I am unable to find a service manual for the 06 TL. Anyone have any leads on where to get one? The only manual that Helm has is the manual for body work.

#61SEP01EL = electrical manual for 2004-2005 (6 isn't out yet apparently)

these were 80 and 47 (respectively) from Helm earlier this month (a couple weeks I think).

I just bought the 06 service and electrical manuals from Helm. They are not shown when you select 06TL, you have to search on the part numbers for the manuals, then they come up.

I think the 2006 service manual is the 2004 (61SEP00) manual with a supplement for 05 which they sell as the 05 manual, and a supplement for 06 which is the 61SEP02.

Can anyone who got the 2006 manual confirm or clarify this?

I have the 04-06 service manual and it's basically an 04 manual since they didn't change the car much through the years, 05 is almost the same as 04 with little change like the seats and there are few 06 supplements which do not apply to 04 and 05 like tire pressure monitoring. As far as electric manual I don't know since I don't have it.

My copy of the electrical troubleshhoting manual is titled "04-06", so it should be updated for the 06.

Did everyone get a copy of 2006 TL Maintenance Journal (31SEP920) when they bought their TL's? The Helm site says its a factory issued item, but I didn't see it included in my package when I picked up my brand new TL last week. I had asked the salesperson if there was a pamphlet with a list of scheduled maintenance and she told me I would get one when I bring the car in for the first service.

I'm not sure, I didn't get one. The only reason I ask is the helm website says its a factory issued manual, so I thought it should come with the car. Have you had your first service yet? Maybe the dealer will give it then.

not yet my car still has around 700 plus mile on it....how bout the others? did any of you get the journal ??

I took delivery of a 2006 TL about two weeks ago. The service journal was in the black Acura pouch with all the other manuals and doc. It's a slim booklet, with a bunch of pages for the service people to stamp when they service the car. It's sorta' like a passport.

I just looked and I got one for my 04 in the plastic folder. It's 31SEP900. I forgot all about it because I do my own maintenance and have a notebook just for that, which I keep in the glove compartment.

It looks like the owners manual but its a lot thinner.

Mine was delivered to me when the car was delivered. I would clarify this with the salesman, or GM. The answer you got sounds odd..

Ditto, I got mine with the rest of the manuals in August when I took delivery. The sales staff explained to me how it was to be used.
