the service reminders go back n forth depending o the mileage

so itll b like service A, service B, service A1, B1, A12, etc, etc.... not in that specific order but you'll eventually see all of those, your manual tells you exactly which one is for what, so i advise you to look in there before going to the dealer to do the services.... saves you money IMO

Well, "A" is change the oil only. But I bet every one on here changes the filter when they change the oil. So they actually do "B" (with or with out the inspections).

I rotate my tires at every oil change. And while I've got the tires off, I check the brakes, suspension, etc. I also check/replenish fluids every time.

So I am really doing "B1" everytime so far.

do you mean cabin air filter? or oil filter? or air (or in my case, intake filter)?

i know you need to change the oil filter with every oil change (obviously), but i didnt know about any other filter.

No, I mean Oil Filter.

"A"= Change Oil only.

"B" = Change Oil and Oil Filter plus various inspections.

"1" = Tire Rotation.

So far my MID has only come up with "A" or "A1" or "B" or "B1". But in reality, I've done "B1" everytime.

I am willing to be 99% of people on this site do NOT do "A" (or "A1") - they change the Oil AND the Oil Filter. And that is "B" service.

yah thats why i was asking. i was under the impression that the oil filter had to be changed with every oil change. thats what stillhere153 told me when he was changing the oil for someone.

well it really depends on the dealership. some members reported 25 dollars, some say 30, and others reported from 50 to 100 dollars.

but i would recommend changing it yourself. i dont know anything about cars and i can do it easily. theres a DIY in the garage.
