in for service=09 loaner....

well i must say i was pleasantyly surprised when the service dept brought an 09 tl around for me to drive for 2 days while they replaced my tint, drive belt, and tensioner pulley....

if you have a type s you will be disapointed with the standard tl, you will be more in to the sh i am sure, even though i didnt drive the sh....

the standard tl is too soft, the steering is way to power assist as the car really felt floaty, it still has rattles but what car doesnt...i didnt really like the layout of the dash and gauges, the car overall was a nice car and all, but when i got back into my type s after 2 days i was overwhelmed with giddy and couldnt be happier....

i imagine the steering is the same as the 09 tsx...it felt too much like a video game or something. i never really felt connected to the road..wierd but im sure you know the feeling if you drove one. i would love to test drive the new tl but the dealer didn't like the fact that i was 22 looking at this $34k car! hate it when ppl judge someone just by the age...i bet i make more money in nursing then he does selling cars

yeah the steering blows. to loose. The type-s steering is solid with a lot of feel. Thats one of the big reasons I like the Type-S

I wonder if there is a way to adjust how hard the power steering pump works to make the steering feel lighter or harder?

The steering on the new TL is electric. There is no more fluid or pump. It's all computerized. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is on all new Acuras.
