To sell or not to sell....'07 TL Type S - Silver
I was 75% on selling it, due to expanding family. But after discussing with a few people here...that 75% is now more like 50%, haha. Even told the wife, it's sort of a collector's item! Need your help friends. Do I keep it or do I sell it? And why? It's our 3rd car right now so we really don't need it. I just need a good enough excuse to keep it. Or a good enough reason to sell it. arggghh

First, what are your other cars? If your family is expanding, the Type S has good room for expansion.

As much as we'd like for these cars to be collectors, the fact of the matter is they are getting older and older everyday, at the same time the value of these cars are only going to go down.
When the TLX comes out this car is going to be 2 generations behind.
However before selling it consider the fact that you are very rarely going to find other cars in the same condition and mileage if you ever want one again. Especially if you bought it from new and owned it from day one.

I drove a 97 civic coupe from the day my son was born until he was 8 and I just got my type s about 6 months ago, if I can make that work the TL should be a piece of cake. We did take the wife's pilot about 75% of the time though. I kept the civic as my DD, I say keep it!

The other thing for me is, what if I'm just living in the past? Maybe it's time for me to move on and let another person enjoy the car. Isn't there a saying, if you love it set it free? haha

I want to sell the Insight and make the GLK her car...maybe this way I can keep the Type S. But the fact that the Insight's a wagon and seats fold down, we can lug more stuff sometimes w the Insight.

I was in the same situation as you. Just bought a 2014 odyssey ex-l for Christmas. not selling my TL for reasons. one it doesn't worth much money and I don't need to cash it out. two it's in great shape and runs perfect. I'll drive another 100k or till it dies. too bad it's now parked on driveway cause the ody took the spot. just fixed sprinklers so it doesn't get sprayed on every morning.
