seat color preference for WDP '08 TL-S

I'd like to poll AZ members to see who prefers taupe and who prefers the ebony/silver interior color (and why!).

I don't have a wdp but I looked at one when I was buying my TL. I saw the taupe interior and didnt like it at all. Then I saw the ebony and loved it, and then I saw the KBP in ebony and bought it

Ebony/Silver! Taupe looks like garbage compared to it. Ebony/Silver is also much easier to keep clean.

neither. you should go for purple. Why? Its a nice pansy color for somebody who cares more about what others think.

Taupe.

I'd go Ebony if they had it. The Ebony with the Silver center doesn't do anything for me.

Taupe, with all the woodgrain accents and the woodgrain steering looking absolutely fing crazy.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST INTERIOR DESIGN AND LOOKS WISE. HOWEVER, IT IS A BITCH TO MAINTIAN...

In my Type-S it's a two tone, Ebony/Taupe. Looks great!

I guess it'll be purple then.

Hey, seriously, I think it's interesting to find out what AZ'ers think about even trivial things like this. I do NOT care MORE about what others think (as if I will choose a car based on a majority vote on this thread, or some horsesh-- like that). Besides, you care about what others think too - why else would you be posting to this website over 3000 times?!

I say go for ebony/silver, easy to maintain. But if you are the type of person who likes tan and wood trimming, then it will be taupe color.

Def... ebony/silver...

Red LEDs with Taupe? That's not sporty, that's nasty.

White on Black is HOT!

PS Sorry Bearcat

I agree with this.

On Black with a Silver stripe, not so much.

Wish they had an Ebony only option for the TL-S.

Silver/Ebony, I had the opportunity to get in a typeS sooner but it was Taupe interior, but decided to wait till they found what i wanted with the 'right' interior. At work someone has a NBP with Taupe interior, and it really doesn't do it for me. Although it does match better on a WDP, I much prefer the two tone

Ebony/Silver although I didn't think about the way the taupe looks with the wood grain, but the taupe is just too hard to maintain, even with the ebony/silver combo, I keep a hand towel over the silver portion so that jeans don't fade onto the seat. Hey jus trying to maintain my car for as long as possible.

Taupe! with a black interior u cant see all the different parts of the car, its all blends and looks like one giant piece. the taupe shows different parts of the car.

u see the door? does it look nice? if i got ebony, that whole door piece would be black...boring IMO ebony looks like a burned house, everything is covered in soot and charcoal

I like the Taupe/Ebony interior as well. Especially the Taupe color on the door, it makes everything stand out a bit more than the ebony/silver interior and looks more luxurious vs sporty.

Even though it's a type-s, the tl is still a family sedan imo. Which is why I bought it instead of a G37S.

Lots of people compliment me on the taupe interior as well. It just gives the car a much more refined look. However, I do agree that it is a complete bitch to keep clean.

taupe thats what i had in my KBP-S, i'd tought about Ebony/silver when i was lookin 4 KBP-S and im glad that i picked TAUPE nicest combonation...but if i was going for the WDP-S then Ebony/silver is the way to go IMO. so its just depend on each and everyone of us choices of the combonation, and in the end, its ur car, so pick what u like and won't reget it in a long run.

finally got it!

Got an '08 WDP TL-S over the weekend (CPO, 13K miles), and it came with the ebony/silver interior.

I originally preferred the taupe interior, based on all the pics, but man, the ebony/silver rocks when you see it in person. It definitely looks hot.

I've seen the taupe in a NBP that I test-drove a few weeks ago, and I think it actually looks really good in that color combo.

Like someone else said in this thread though, I think it depends on what you want. The WDP/taupe also looks great and looks a little more luxury/family, while the WDP/eb/silv is more racy/sporty.
