seat belt - the rub

there is not enough room between the seat and the b pillar for the seatbelt to fall. it always sits adn an angle rubbing against the side of the seat. IT is gonna rub a hole through the leather with enough time. What teh heezy

(PS I am in a shit mood today adn I hate doctors)

I guess it's related to your height and seat position. If you move forward or backward a little bit, the seat belt would be movable easily. You're about 5'6" to 5'10"?

5'10" - 5'11"

seat and b-pillar are pretty much lined up and the belt always gets stuck between the 2

Yes, I have the same problem sometimes and this always reminds me to move backward a little... but I like my current position, which is most comfortable, I usually just let it stuck... that's the moment I'm not in the car...

I use both memory seat settings, so when I enter the car the memory 1 will pull the seat back (and the seatbelt latch will fall) then I pres memory 2 and the seat will move forward into my favorite position...

Nobody else drives my car, so I can use both memory positions for this...

This is a problem on my wife's '02 as well - so I have been taking like an extra 10 minutes it seems in my '04 getting the seatbelt and returning it as well for fear of chewing up the pillar like hers is now.

I used to do so, but I cannot do it now unless my new Seat Memory module is installed.

I think this seatbelt prob is part of why some people here some vibrations near the passenger side. If you notice, sometimes the noise is actually the metal part of the seatbelt hitting the side of the door panel. Next time if you people with that noise, take the seat belt and put it in place, you'll notice the noise goes away....I just noticed this noise, and did this with the seatbelt, and the noise went away..!!!!

Ha, you're right. The unsettled seatbelt would make noisy. But I have other squeak or rattle coming from my door panel.
