How's everyone doing first time poster here. I sorta have a question. I just bought a 06 TL, last Wednesday. I already noticed some deep scratches on my car. The front bumper has a very long scratch and my drivers side door has a deep scratch already. Also noticed for some odd reason, I am missing a valve cap on one of my front tires. Should I complain to the dealer? Or am I out of luck?

I know I didn't do any of the scratches on my car cause I barely took the car anywhere yet. Its been sitting in my driveway. I think I was so excited at the dealership I never noticed.. Or is there a scratch kit I can get for my car? Besides these small problems, the car is great.

 

I notice a new one everytime I clean my car..gets kinda sad. I doubt they will do anything about it. Ima be looking for touch up paint soon..some of my knicks dont even make sense... I haven't done anything bad to any females...and i live too far out inthe boonies for them to come to my house an mess with my car:P

 

you may not have done it but i'm sure someone did. it sucks, but there is nothing the dealer can do about it. i made sure to do a thorough walk thru before i took delivery.

 

How weird!?!?! I just noticed one of my valve caps on my 19's is missing. front drivers side. Maybe there's a valve cap fairy stealing them all...

Is there some sort of touchup paint I can use on my door and front bumper? How does that stuff work?

 

It doesnt. You're better off just leaving it. Touch up paint works well for spot fixing, but its gonna look horrible running the length of a scratch, especially along such a smooth area as the door.
