I hate polls, especially this one. The poster is stupid and the topic is too old. I disqualify myself from the voting.

Long story short, I have MDX which I park by the curb, and TL which I park by the curb too, 5 times a day or so. I end up touching the rims on TL at least once every couple of weeks. Yeah, and with MDX I developed a habit of parking really close, in a narrow street with cars on both sides.
I knew what I was signing up for, since I noticed this problem before buying the TL. So in my case I'm not blaming Acura.
What's your take?

Learn how to drive. Next thing you all will want is Acura to pay for the damage when you hit a guard rail, or tree or your garage wall. Bad drivers suck. It's way too easy for people to get a driver's license. Most people don't deserve one.

This is an easy question.... unfortunately you are. When I bought my TL I also bought the tire/wheel protection package at the same time. I thought it was a rip off at first (my wife wanted to get it) but after reading some of these threads I guess it may not be.... Especially if I ever scratch my rim when attempting to parallel park.
By the way, you may want to put your fire proof suit on.
