Scratched my A-Spec RIM...any Solution???

As I was turning right into a Mall, I hit the curb with my right back wheel, and i heard a big noise. :crying: And when i got out to see, my A-Spec rim was scratched from the side (about 3 inches) and its quite visible. So does anyone know how this can be fixed without getting it replaced since its very costly to get a new one? Any suggestions...

You can either look in the yellow pages for wheel repair or if you have a Discount Tire around you they can repair the scratch. It is about $100 or so to have it done.

Ouch! Yeah, not good. I posed that very same question to the service manager at my dealership right before I signed on the dotted line. He said that there are many wheel specialty shops out there that can fix the rim. Not sure about the cost, I would call and ask around. If its not so bad, you might just wanna hold off, with those rims even if you are careful, mistakes happen. Sorry and good luck.

I scrached mine to. I talked with almost every place in the area they said it was not possable to repair to "like new condition" due to the gunmetal color. - Had to bite the dust and purchase a new wheel.

LOL...

Well I called Wheels of America and they said they will fix it for $129 and extra $18 for mounting. So I guess thats not bad...better than buying a new one.
I will take it in by this weekend and let you'll know how it goes...

Thanks for everyone's advice!
