scratch magnet?

anyone else's TL seem like a magnet for scratches? It seems like no matter how far away i park, how careful i am-there are always new scratches.....

Like today i noticed a strip of white paint on my anthracite door handle where someone had bumped my handle with their white door. Was there a note? of course not! How did this happen when i park the farthest away from wherever i am going an never park next to anybody? who knows.....all i can do is take it to the detailing shop and have them buff it out and fix the scratches... oh well, just venting

HAHA, yaaaa I know how you feeling, with my NBP ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is noticeable.

Thats why I park away from everyone like in the corner.

I don't expect anyone to leave a note when they rub against my baby, they too ashamed!!!! and dont wanna be blamed for it.

Seems like a DIY!!!!!!

i wouldnt go straight to rolling in loot...i wish, i am just OCD about my car and hate when there are scratches/dings-i would much rather have a pro do it then myself, who is not very mechanically inclined! I can sure spot a scratch, but not very good at removing them!

Someone was really pissed off at you to do a deep scratch like that to your car. What did you do?

yeah...that is a scratch. I dont know what mine is compared to that-maybe like a piece of hair that you can only see in perfect light but otherwise is not visible.... that on your car, my friend, is a scratch

damn that sucks, it makes me mad how ignorant people can be towards others who work hard, and try to mantain and take care of there things. no respect. I would whoop someones a$$ if I caught them doing something to my car like that.

The TL is certainly a magnet of dings, scratches, chips, etc. My wife's poor TL has been to the ole' Dent Wizard many times. Had to have the rear quarterpanel pushed out and numberous door dings removed.

Not sure why it happens ... I jsut chalk it up to the fact that respectful, intelligent people are a SMALL minority in this world

My car has had both bumpers repainted numerous times, and yet every few weeks there will be a new mark where some dumb ass apparently can't park. I some how have a door ding in my A-pillar, anyone who can explain how that happened has one hell of an imagination.

yeah they are definitely in the minority....people just dont respect other peoples things. Maybe i just notice it more because i drive a nicer car, but i used to have no problem with this at all!
