Just picked up a 04 TL A/T

and was searching for a forum with a lot of info, ive found it and now all ive been doing is staying up for hours upon hours researching. haha

basically just saying thanks a bunch for the awesome forum!

haha, its cool. i used to work on nissans and toyotas prior to owning a vehicle. helped out a lot on many builds.

theres 133k miles on it, but im not worried about it. i have a tune in works for next week before i go to vegas.

How much did you pay for your TL? I'm also looking at an 04 TL with about 130,000 miles on it to buy.

Better learn to start parking further back from those curbs. The one in your pic would have messed up an A-Spec front lip!!

 

 

yeah the parking job is bad i know haha. just showing xceedspeed back home in michigan the length of the hood and what not...

i paid 11.5k with 2k down since its a first loan.

interior is really nice for 133k, the paint it self has some*more like multiple nicks and scratch's on it* but its all good.

possibly going to get a tein lowering kit*basic* first and then go for some rims...

EDIT: and just for soul i got a pedobear sticker on it already.. ill toss up pics when i get it cleaned in and out.

Drew, I am in the same boat. I just bought an '04 TL. I've never owned an Acura. I have to say I am in love with the car. Need to fix the tires/brakes/plugs/timing belt before I bring out the shine and take some pics. Even without the navi I think the car is just awesome!

 

yeah, this summer is going to be a lot of fun xD cant wait. then in september its getting thrown in storage for half a year :\

Just did a oil change yesterday on it.

put Mobil-1 5000 mile protection in it. and a mobil-1 oil filter..
when i did this, a lot of vibrations i had at stand still went away, i was surprised. dont know if it was that or because i topped off my power steering :P

but next things on the list for this shwhip is a tranny flush, and new brakes.
