thinking about tinting:
1. how anal are the cops in this area? do they really stop u just for having tints?
2. if yes, what % are ur tints? if no, what % are ur tints, and how long have you had them?
3. how much is the ticket?

i've never had a problem with my tints in the bay area.... cops are not really anal here about that i think. none of my friends have, either... one of htem has limo tint on his 02 celica and hasnt been pulled over before. i believe the ticket is a fix-it and is pretty cheap.. but you have to get the tint off.

cool. I was gonna get tints anyway, but now I feel a little better about it...

 

I got a ticket in Marin a week after I got them tinted (35 front/20 back). No fix-it ticket in Marin. Just a flat $110. If you don't remove them you risk another $110. I'm taking my chances. Knock on wood...3 months and counting.
