safest and most effective general purpose cleaner for interior trim?

I think everybody loves the lexol cleaner & conditioner product for the leather surfaces. BTW it is on sale at your local pep boys store for $9.88 each with coupon from circular. What is the safest most effective cleaner for the sides of the seat, the door sills, the metallic area around the gear selector, and other pieces of trim?

A while back I got the Lexol cleaner and conditioner at pep boys. When it rang up, the price was $10 for both of them. I didn't realize it was on sale for $5 each. I should've bought more. Now they don't have the sale anymore.
