Who the hells driving that EG? Poor car

Your car is soooo sick. Reminds me A LOT of when I had my Si (and the pulls I'd do with unsuspecting victims lol), and confuses me even more that people don't believe my times at the track.

Nice pulls bud!

PS-I will say that Bimmer sounded sick when it was gearing down to do the pulls...smoke wasn't a great sign tho lol.

That 4th to 5th shift let the Bimmer come back around it...and then those revving/downshifts at the end of race...lol...just funny.
Idk if you're implying you were driving the eg or not...gave me wood to hear it scream tho.

That 5 to 4 downshift was pretty sick, I thought. Gotta love e-cutouts. Honda 5th gear fail strikes again, that BMW got reeled and should have never came back.

Ha Yeah, im in the eg
Yeah, i don't usually like to throw 5th cus overdrive but bimmer guy asked for a top end run and i promised not to lift before he did

Rev was purely from excitement inside the cockpit. i was laughing hysterically hearing the car brrrrrrrrrrrr in 5th

It was funny watching the "from rsx-s" view first cuz I saw this car in the far lane fly up on the BMW and then stay even...I was thinking "wtf did that guy do, let off?" Then I watched your view and realized you misshifted/had to shift out of vtec.

Yeah that 5th gear is killer, 5th gear sucks in my car and I have a 6 speed, can only imagine that 5th speed falls on it's face w/ just simple bolt ons in 5th gear. A set of cams/valvetrain upgrade would definitely help

Would a vtec controller help, to drop the engagement a couple thousand rpms?

Word...can you drop vtec engagement with it like you can with Flashpro? I know it's not really worth it cuz it's nice to have 5th/overdrive for highway cruising, but would be cool to see the difference. Obviously, a different final drive would help too.

Yes, Hondata S300 you can do pretty much everything Flashpro and KPRO can do, probably more. His VTEC is set lower but you don't want to set it too low b/c then you will kill gas mileage and it's not really beneficial to making more power. Tuning Cam Angles however is a great way to pick up power.

Yea I know dropping Vtec engagement wouldn't give him anymore overall power, but it would give him more power at whatever rpm he drops to in 5th from redline 4th. Gas mileage aside, it'd be cool to see how hard he would pull in 5th gear vtec with that long ass gear.

4th>5th gear change lands well within vtec.

Really? This is due to S300...correct? I can't imagine you ever being able to hit vtec in 5th with a stock ecu.

Yeah, I'm not sure what his is set at but my VTEC was lowered to engage between 4400-5200rpm I believe it was. There's a window for it....if you are going partial throttle in my car at least, you can literally feel the cam change over.

I think stock VTEC was 5800 but don't quote me, it's been awhile, lol. My tune will be 2 years old in a couple weeks.
