Has anyone taken their 04-07 TL's into Honda for any routine service items, i.e. oil changes or various fluid changes. I've had the transmission and brake fluids changed by a Honda dealership in my 04 TL. I currently have 52 k miles on my car. The prices charged by Honda is usually less then that charged by Acura. If it all Honda parts and accessories, why pay more?

the dealership where I bought my acura also sells hondas. the hourly rate chargedat their honda service department is $86.00 an hour where as their acura service department charges $85.00 an hour. My good friend is the acura service there so I get alot of my service free. what is the hourly rate where you take your car

$81 for Honda and $ 80 for Acura. I compared the bottom line which was cheaper with Honda. For example, when the brake fluid was changed Honda charged $ 89 and Acura wanted either $ 119 or $ 129.

Not all the time Honda is cheaper than Acura. So make sure you do the shopping before taking it in.
