I notice the idling on the 04 TL seems a little rough. Seems some of it may be due to the exhaust though. My idling vibration in park is enough to when I can pop open the gas door and you can see the door vibrating in the first postion and also when you open it all the way. I know this sounds like a crazy analysis, but has anyone noticed this as well? Just trying to see if my idling is a charcteristic of the car or something wrong.

 

thought mine did the same the day when i bought it, but then noticed the AC on (it was winter at the time). turned it off, and the idle returned to normal

 

Just got my car yesterday and find the idle very smooth when in "drive", but just a bit rough in Park. We also have an ES300 and using that as a comparison, the TL is definitely a bit rougher than the ES.
