....your thread title says "roof spoiler" and you're showin deck lid spoilers, so i'm assuming you want a deck lid spoiler since those are the ones you're showing those in the post, also i think acura makes specific ones for the TL

Yea there are specific TL rool spoilers if you google "TL Roof spoiler" you will come across a JDM TL roof spoiler, sold by "built4race". I forgot how much it is, but I don't want to paint mine jsut yet so I want a fake CF.
It is true that the sarona roof spoiler is the best looking one out of them all, but i just can't shell out the $200+ for it.

07 tl-s in
slightly,(look at the corners) a 15 min install took about an hour of "tweeking". I think I got it about 98%. My friend (owns a shop) and I heated it up alittle to get it more flexable and used this "professional industrial" 2 sided tape that my dude swears is duct tape reincarnated. I still do have that slight gap on the corners due to the curve though.(not that noticable and I'm anal) all in all I'm happy........

Thanks.
Thanks.
i shaved it down using this tool
Stanley 21-399 6-Inch Surform Pocket Plane. took me about an hour to do shaved off a ton of material. i only shaved the UNDERSIDE OF IT WHERE IT MEETS THE GLASS, i did not touch to top at all. most of the material i shaved was the top underneath edge where it meets the roof. shave it so its even with the glass and other edges so it sits flush on the glass surface. if you do it right it should fit more like this
when i was done shaving that edge that was too thick and overlapping the roof was alittle less than 1/4" almost like a sword edge,
hope that helps, dont be scared it's only $250-300

Where is the best deal for the Sarona roof spoiler? And, those window covers (3rd & 4th pic on post #15; not sure what the exact terminology is)but where can I find those too??

i searched and searched everywhere, made calls after calls and finally found the best deal online, which happened to be thru ebay (Item number: 360282071584). i also asked the seller for a reasonable discount off of the full retail price of 300 PLUS shipping and surprisingly, he knocked off 25 bux for a total of 275 w/ free shipping. nothing to be ecstatic over but hey something is better than nothing at all. i just bought mine on 7/24/10.
for some reason, this seller never bothered to put in his listing that this is a genuine Sarona brand roof spoiler (in case you are thinking the same thing) so at first i was kinda hesitant to buy, wondering if i was about to pay a crazy-rip-me-off-price for some lousy Sarona lookin knock-off. i asked the seller for better photos and specs and he gave me the Sarona website so i just assumed it was a Sarona spoiler.
it wasnt until i actually received the package that i knew for sure it was a genuine Sarona brand spoiler. the return address on the shipping label was shown as being sent from "Sarona Designs" warehouse which everyone should know is based out of New York. so that was when i finally knew it was the real-deal;legit. lol. you can also purchase this spoiler from many other online retailers as well but IMO, it doesnt make sense to pay full price + shipping and buy this spoiler from anywhere else other than buying it directly from Sarona Designs themselves.
also, another benefit to buying direct from Sarona is that they really have excellent customer service. since Sarona themselves would have to carry the largest quantity of these in stock and therefore be able to fulfill my request, i had actually called them before they shipped mine to me and specifically asked the head-honcho to personally pick me out the most perfect, proportionate looking one, one that would require the least amount of shaping as possible and with zero defects, or at least visible to the naked eye.
they really went out of there way for me and that's rare these days.
in case any of you wanted to know, the name of the head-honcho at Sarona Designs is Danny and his # is 917-373-6672.
he will most likely setup a special ebay auction just for you at a discounted price and then email you the item # for you to make the purchase with peace of mind.
im very happy with my purchase. yes, it does require quite a bit of shaping, shaving no matter what. but as long as you shave it right, nothing beats the awesome, clean look of this roof spoiler. IMO
