I installed with the wet method. Use mixture of water with soap according to the instruction on the paper. You need a hair dryer that can turn to hot but low blow (so that you can easy control the heat) and a spray bottle. Make sure to clean the light very good and try to avoid install in place that can blow dirt into.
Get the film and place on the light so that you can know approx. place and how it fits on the light. Remove the protective cover of the film and spray water on both the film and taillight. Apply the film on on the flat side of the light first and work toward the other end. While squeeze out the bubble and heat the film so that it can mold to the shape of the light, once it start to stretch and mold to the shape that you want, quickly spray water on the out side of the film so that the cool water will hold the film in the shape that you want. Continue to heat, squeeze, shape the film to the mold of the light, and spray water on (both inside and outside) until it mold perfectly on the light. Work slowly will safe you time. Don't be affraid to remove the film out and re-apply back to get rid of the bubbles or make it fit. Do not stretch the film too much by apply lots of force (while squeeze out the film to make it fit) and heat the film too hot (if you feel it's too hot, then it's too hot for the film) because the film of that part will looks wrinkle when you done. The hardest part is near the end where you have to stretch the film out so that all the extra film laying flat to the rim of the light. Be patient and keep the film wet both inside and outside. Hope it helps!

I did this a week ago. I did the wet install and found it challenging. The second taillight was definitely easier. A couple of tips would be to start applying the tint on the end farthest from the license plate (or corner of the car) and work your way towards the license plate. The curve of the taillight makes it difficult.

Also when spraying the soap/water mix on the taillight before applying the film, use a conservative amount. On my first taillight, I was left with some glue bubbles. They seem to be shrinking with time, but I still might want to redo it. Good luck and be patient.
