Getting ready to fly out. Sucks I can't start the project this week, still waiting for my bracket from Paul. Rotors, pads, lines should be here Friday. Can't wait for the final product, here is how they look now.

so really everything that is needed for this DIY is
1. the calipers from a 05+ RL
2. front 13" rotors from a 350z?
3. SS brake lines
5. brake pads for a RL?
4. custom made bracket
do you have to get the rotors re-drilled, or they have the same lug pattern?
did you get SS brake lines for the TL or RL?
When you get the bracket in will you show pictures and measurements or does Paul want to keep it a secret and sell them for what price?
Sorry if i missed all the given info.
Thank you

I already had the SS lines paired with my stock A/T calipers, I intend on using those with the new RL calipers.
Bolts on the brackets need to be shaved a bit to make sure they dont hit the inside of the stock 17" wheels.
BTW if anyone is interested
I am using
EBC front rotors USR7122
EBC rear rotors USR7199
EBC red stuff (front) DP31735C
EBC res stuff (rear) DP3781/2C

Yeah they are black.
Just ran into an issue, really wish that people would mention in their threads that the lines are different. From my research it seemed that people are using their OEM/SS lines that are direct fit to the RL calipers. I guess they are not as the TL has banjo flare line head and the caliper takes bubble flare, FML.

My TL already had the SS lines made for the 3G TL stock calipers, they dont fit the RL calipers. So now I am trying to figure out which lines to get in order to make them work with the TL/RL bbk combo.
Wondering if getting SS lines for the 2G RL will work, can someone confirm?
Trying to get a hold of Marcus at heeltoe as well.

Please report back! I've already started by ordering calipers, don't want to run into this later down the road. Hopefully Marcus can clarify if the 2G RL lines can fit our TL's.

^^ You arent kidding
I have read around 2 dozen different RL BBK upgrade threads and non mentioned the different SS lines. Not even sure if people are getting them as nothing suggested that different lines are needed.
We had everything pulled apart before realizing this hick up.

Most Honda accord guys are using Russell lines but the Russell lines are not compatible with the 3G, per member upnout. Arthurl hasn't gotten back to me yet and as soon as he does ill update the thread.
I do hav XLR8 lines on my car as be speak and I can report that they don't fit the rl calipers. The plug that goes into the caliper is banjo flared where as to work with the new calipers it needs to be bubble flared.
I have ordered some rl SS lines and they should be here next week. Now the question is tat the new rl lines will fit the caliper but would the end that plugs into the chassis be compatible with th 3G?
I also have a set of rotora bbk calipers with me made for the 3G , I know he lines with them are made for the 3G let me check to see what sort of end they have on them.

Pulled out my rotora kit and here is what the kit for 3G looks like with its line.
the bolt that screws on the chassis brake fluid line.
the head is conical
here is the head that bolts into the caliper, notice the inverted flare, I am thinking thats how stock 3G AT caliper bolt/line/flare set up is, cant confirm it till I have the lines off of the car.
and finally, here is the RL caliper.
When I bought the calipers the junkyard basically left the bolt in feed hole and cut it so that nothing would get in the caliper.
notice the bubble flare
opening in the caliper
Also, to be noted here is that the RL gets feed from the chassis via a solid steel line AFAIK where as the 3G TL has a rubber line in between the steel line on the chassis and the caliper. So I am not really sure how the whole thing is going to pan out once I get the SS lines from XLR8.
Long story short, we need the lines to have the following heads,
Head that bolts on to the chassis
head that bolts into the caliper
the bolt that screws on the chassis brake fluid line.
