Replacing Window Regulator

Hi all, I think its time for me to replace my RF window regulator/motor and not sure if I should go OEM or aftermarket.

Are the Dorman regulators any good? They're about half the cost of an oem one.

One way to find out. If I were you, I'd stay OEM.

I'd personally stick with OEM as well.

I tried saving a couple of bucks and installed an aftermarket window regulator for a 200 Grand Prix GTP that I used to won.. Needless to say, I should have just gone OEM. Try looking at your local junkyard. You can usually find them for pretty cheap.

Last night I had to step out to the market and was able to lower the window a bit.
When I went to close it. It made this awful noise ( as in a cable binding or something )

Guess she will remain closed until replacement is received.

Just replaced the regulator. The old one was definitely broken.
Took me about 10 minutes to swap it out.
Very simple job. The hardest part is holding up the window. I used some cardboard and wedged it in the window track to keep it in place.
