replacing motor mounts on 2007 TL

My 2007 Base TL needs motor/trans mounts replaced. 139K and looking to keep car another 3 yrs, 25k. Looking to use after market, like this site https://www.am-autoparts.com/product...335580227.html. Site says they are a fit, Part #s similar, but look to be Honda #s instead of Acura #s. Any advice?

Do not get them. They will fail again very soon and you will need to replace them. You have to go OEM or get Innovative Mounts (They are solid mounts and car will vibrate a lot more than stock).

As @mhtut83 says, the best way to be sure your new mounts to last is to buy OEM units. They aren't cheap, but they really are the best bet in town when it comes to mounts.

I would go OEM on the mounts except the passenger side mount, go with the urethane Innovative mount. If there was in increase in vibration, I can't tell and it should help the front mount last longer.

Just had my lower control arms changed and they found out my passenger side mount failed again (240k miles ) But the bolt hole is stripped will need to be helicoiled. The shop will do it for $600 with a new mount. I don't want to try doing the helicoil myself, worried I will mess it up and then really be screwed.

That’s a steep price imo I would shop around if I was you. It’s not hard to do a helicoil.

No kidding. The OEM passenger side mount #11 is only $71.26 before shipping.

Just curious, which 'bolt hole' is stripped on the link below?? Is it #31 flange bolt into the #5 engine side mounting bracket or #30 flange bolt into #5 engine side mounting bracket?

$600 for a mount and helicoil seems steep. You could buy a new engine mount bracket, mount and bolt(s) for way under 6 hundo.

I just swapped ours to the innovative mounts. They pretty much replaced all the stock mounting points. If you need one you can have it. It came off a 09 V6 Accord 6 speed. I believe they are the same for the pass side.
