I've searched a good bit on this but can't seem to find any solid answers. I need to replace my bumper on a '08 TL Type-S. Is there any difference between the base and Type-S bumper? I read that some thought the exhaust cutouts were larger on the Type-S to accommodate the quad tips, but there's also people that put the quad tips on their base TL with no fitment issues.

So would this work for my Type-S?

It says it fits 04715-SEP-A70ZZ, which as far as I can tell is the Type-S bumper?

 

the people that are putting quads on the base bumper are using smaller diameter tips...ie; not the OEM tips.
you will need the type-s bumper to accomodate the oem quads.

 

Gotcha, I also do not have the Type-S A-Spec kit, just the regular Type-S. So as long as I buy the 04715-SEP-A70ZZ part I'm good?
