Replace front bumper or repaint it?
Hello guys,
Some lady hit my front bumper (2008 TL type s silver) while she was trying to park in front of me. (2008 BMW 5 series)
it is tiny little dents on the bottom part of front bumper.
She told me to go to local dent fix body shop and get estimated how much it would be.
She also went this dent fix body shop a while ago and the cost was around $220 ~ $250 to fix it.
Do you guys recommand to go there and repaint it or get a new front bumper from Tim ( HondAcruaWorld) and install it myself?
I just checked price of front bumper in website and it says $230
I also wonder if it is already painted or not. ( mine is silver.)
Any advice would be appriciated.
Thanks

If you buy a new bumper it will not come painted.
Do you have pics of the damage?

You should always go through insurance/police report. If she was nice and sincere and admitted fault I would get it re-painted and fixed. Now if she wasn't, file a insurance claim, and get a new bumper or get the money for new bumper/paint and get it repaired instead and pocket the leftovers. Entirely up to you.
