Okay, I know some of us have had our WDP bumpers repainted due to the mismatch which in my case was terrible.

I'm curious, has anyone who has had their WDP bumper repainted achieved a perfect or near perfect match?

My repaint is a slight improvement but not ideal...depending on which way you look at it.

Also, can anyone recommend a body shop in Charlotte or surrounding areas that may be able to match this?

You can check Wilburn Auto Body on 49 (Tryon) just south of Westinghouse (toward Carowinds).

Had our 02 TL-S done there after getting rear-ended ~6 weeks ago. They did a good job on the car. And pretty quick too.

They did the bumper to whatever the Acura standard is, so the color is not a perfect match to the body. But, they may be able to special match for you to get as close to the body color as possible.

Charlotte Paint & Body on Albemarle matched the silver on my old car perfectly (twice )...silver can be a tough match like white.

Mine was repainted at B & R, they did a good job on the paint, it is a close match, especially since its the WDP. I'm about 35 miles outside of Charlotte so I didn't know anything about the body shop they used. I've heard good and bad about them. If I buy the car after the lease ends, I may look into my options as far as getting a closer match. I still think it's the angle, at top of the bumper seam, it matches perfect. It's when I am looking down it towards the horizontal part it looks a different shade. I may take it there just to get an opinion next time I'm in the area, won't hurt to ask. Thanks alot!!
