Does anyone have a diagram of how to remove the interior panels of the trunk on an 06 TL? I need another few inches of height in order to to fit my 2 12s w/ box flush against the back seats or i'm not going to have 8" of trunk

Take all the black clips out???

other than that I got nothings....

 

do you know if the rear "hat deck" has to bolt into that?

I'll be giving it a shot tomorrow when i have some time, but this forum is great for killing time at work.

 

When I removed my trunk liner I don't recall any bolts. The hardest part was undoing the section that lines the seat backs. It rests on some pushpins that are along the top edge which I couldn't get out. I just pushed the fabric away from the tips and pulled it down. Other than that just remove all the black pins and round mounting points (I guess they are self tapering bolts) for the net. There are a few hidden out of site on the top of the trunk near the light (actual trunk light, not brake lights)
