Removing the moonroof visor for winter?

Is it ok to remove the moonroof visor every winter and have it re-installed every spring? any thoughts or advice regarding this?

Yeah, you can remove it and everything will just be fine. Make sure that before you reattach it, the car is clean and waxed (to prevent scratching of the paint).
