Remove small scratches from Anthracite!!!

WOW! I am psyched. Well, first I was bummed. 10 days and already I found a little scratch. But nothing too bad/deep.

Anyway, I remembered I had a product called Turtle Wax Color Cure I picked up for my old black car to see if it worked on little scratches. It was okay. So I figured I'd give it a shot. It's a colored wax. I have the BLACK one.

Anyway, I put it on...buffed it off and Voila (pro-nounced WHA-LA you cretins :lol2: ) it worked like a charm....No mess, no fuss!

I highly recommend it.

So this is colored wax? You used black on Anthracite and it worked ok? I have no scratches yet (but a few small chips) have you tried it on chips? I think I may needs some touch up paint.

When I had my black 540i a few years ago, I tried this so-called color wax to cover up some small scratches and after a few car washes, it came right off---just another gimmick to me.

My neighbor has a new black BMW 740. She went to Memphis last week and when she came home noticed scratch around 3" long by the passenger front window. She had some scratch (don't know what brand), but it removed the scratch. I told her she was lucky to still have her car after going to Memphis.

Sorry it doesn't work for you. Mine (on the old car) lasted nicely between waxes. Depends on the depth of the scratch,

Meguiars makes "Scratch X" (something like that) which does a pretty decent job on clear coat scratches.
