Remote Starters

Has anyone installed a remote starter on their new TLs? If you have, please share your experience. Does it work with the memory seating/mirrors/temperature, etc? Any particular brand? In temperature extreme locations and espcially people with little ones, remote starters are very useful.

Did you end up installing one? I am looking at the one made by Astro. Their website is www.astrostart.com

No i'm still not confident with the information on this type. I'm gonna do a little bit of research on this and make a decision in the new year.

crazymaxe, did you get the alarm/starter combo or just the starter. If you did get the alarm also, was it compatible with the OEM alarm system?

I chose compustar because it is simple to set (6mt) and the remote is small.
Eg; car idling in neuteral, set park brake, remove key and exit car,

Car shuts off, locks doors and sets factory alarm system.

Compustar will not allow you to remove the keys and leave the car running ( 6mt) or use the acura remote options to contol windows,sunroof...
