I've been thinking of putting in a CompuStar.

Haven't gotten very far with the idea yet; just gotten one quote of $750 installed. I still need to do more research..

The compustar is an excellent system. If you get it you will be very pleased with its features and performance (if its installed correctly). I had their systems on my 2 previous cars. As far as installing it on my 04, the jury is still out on that. At the very least I want to wait till more info about the car is available to the general public (installers and others). They will most likely try to use wireing diagrams from the previous gen to make the system work. Another concern I have is the installers ability to keep all the functionality provided with the stock alarm. Window roll up/down, memory seat is definately a loss. $750 installed is a fearly good price on that system, if you do get it installed for that price check on what they will install. Anti Jacking etc. Good luck
