"Red" Loctite on Rear Brake Mounting Bolts
Good afternoon. For context, one day many months ago, I heard a strange "ding" noise while driving home. Upon arriving home, I inspected that one of the bolts that hold the rear caliper onto the the knuckle somehow came undone and went missing, presumably the bolt itself, I still do not know how it came loose. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and I couldn't get an OEM replacement bolt. I went to a local auto parts store and got a matching bolt w/ thread pitch. I had some red loctite with me and added a small amount on the entry threads, there wasn't any issues with fitment or looseness before adding loctite. Fast forward to today, I realize that adding red loctite may not have been a good idea since you have to use heat to get it off. For future brake/caliper replacement, will this be an issue for me? I only added loctite that replacement bolt, and nowhere else.

Threadlocker should only be used where the FSM calls for it (almost nowhere).
There's no good reason to loctite your brake caliper bolts. But you probably haven't done any harm. It will just be more difficult to remove the bolt.
