I have a 2005 TL and have a damaged front bumper (long story and it still makes me sick ). I cannot seem to even find a stock aftermarket replacement for it and I am wondering if it would be easier to try an RDX (similar?). To assuage the pain of paying for a simple replacement, I thought I would take this as an opportunity for spicing up the front, just a bit. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated and help the TL image. I feel so guilty driving it, considering the way it looks. Help me make my TL turn heads again and for the right reason. Also, while I have this chance, does anyone have suggestions as far as a hood scoop or turbo vents or would that be too tacky?
P.S. Cheap is always good and I had an estimate for installation and part for 600.

 

I doubt that any other acura model has the same bumper outlines as the TL. If you want to go after market with a better look try Ron Jon Sport Design and ask them for the price of the front. Otherwise you would either have to look at junkyards or buy OEM. Make sure that it a bumper cover and not bumper.

 

I called RonJon and they will not piece out a front bumper from the body kit and their stock bumpers are a little expensive. I called the local salvage yards, but no luck. I cannot believe someone has not designed a reasonably priced custom bumper for the 05 TL. Help!

 

I dented mine a few months back as the result of a snow storm. Finally had it replaced yesterday. New OEM bumper and paint job to match - $644. Looking all purty again - Priceless.
