Recognize this TL?

Looking around for a used WDP manual and came cross this one. Looks pretty good. Anyone recognize it? If so, what can you tell me about it?

Don't want to spend the money that most WDP Type S owners are looking for. They're nice cars, but I think the market is still high on them.

Yup-at a dealership and they can't tell me anything (not surprising).

Aspec kit, modded headlights, rims, drop, black grill, tint. Rims look weird but its nicely modded.

Yup-looks pretty clean.

Looking to see if anyone knows this car in particular and could advise for or against. Hard to make a decision based off of photos 2k miles away.

Never seen it, but looks clean. Powdercoat the wheels and add 15mm spacers up front, and this thing would be looking pretty good.

I actually stopped at the dealer for some parts and saw this there today.

I advise against it. Do not get it.

any reason why you advise against it?

Bridgewater, lol. I made the 3.5-4 hr trek down there to buy my car back in January '08. Only NBP 6MT I could find in the northeast. They were shady/high pressure. Tried to steal my '03 Accord 4 cyl at 7k, but I got them up to 10.5k after about two hours of playing the game.

Car looks pretty clean, but the wheels are weak. Just hit 105k, too. Wonder if the timing belt has been done.

there's a very fine line u walk when buying any car which has already been modded. could have been an owner like many of us who maintain our TLs regularly with a very meticulous approach. others beat the shit outta the cars and let anybody with a wrench work on it. just think about it, could have been owned by some young kid who cut corners with oil changes and other regularly scheduled maintenance then punted the car once he got bored of it and just before seals or parts let go. just be cautious bro

Pulled rear tires...

It looks nice but you will obviously have to go take a look at it. And water leakage? Id have the reason it even leaked looked into before you but it. Buying an already modded car can be a bad thing for sure!

Exactly why I posted on here to see if anyone knew the car. Water leaking issues? I'm running away.

I looked for months at David McDavid and Sterling, and only a few 3g's ever came through. I found my 07 nbp tl-s on craigslist, of all places. It turned out to be a hell of a deal! 50,000k miles and very few minor problems!

I have way too much going on to even think about it.

But if and when he sells it Ill have first dibs. So we'll see...

I missed out on COTA last weekend.....would've loved to have taken the Lotus out there. The drive down there would've destroyed my back.
