What's the distance between lights? I think they're timed so you'd be racing from light to light........... that is if you stop at the lights... I guess it wouldn't matter at 3a.m!

It's one quarter mile between lights. My best time recently while spinning tyres was a 15.2 @ 98 and change over there. Portable track FTMFW. It was too cold so the ground was a bit moist and my tyres are REALLY shitty. I was pleasantly surprised with the 98 trap because I used to trap 89, and was only expecting a 93 trap speed.

TwinTurbo335, 19th and Lincoln was enough for my friend in his 335 (with me riding along) to hit 100 by the next mini intersection (going to Richmond), destroying a Maserati while we were at it, .

3.2 -> 3.5, . The 3.2 was BHG and had problems, haha. I still think the 98 was a fluke, but I'm hoping that it isn't for obvious reasons! I pulled on an 04-05 5AT 3G once, what do those trap?

thats awesome, how much power are you making anyways? I am guess 200whp-210? 04-05 AT traps at 96-97mph, so I think you are a bit faster, there's no replacement for displacment :P

I saw an SC on it's side at the second turn from Park Presidio -> Sunset. It was raining and I think some of us got it on video. I was going home when I saw it and I called some of my boys where were nearby and they decided to go home early just to see it. I also saw a woman hit the barrier at that very turn you're talking about. I've topped out at 90 on the first two turns Sunset -> Richmond, but I'm not stupid to go that fast on the rest of the road. I only did it to shut up this damn Z4 who was bugging me the whole way down 19th from the freeway with his ugly girlfriend who looked to be bigger than he. As long as you follow racing line to some extent, you'll be fine. Last turn ending in Richmond should go right lane until you hit the double potholes (about 30-40 feet to the turn), start to go middle lane, 10 feet to the turn start braking and release when you can see that there are no cops waiting at the light (or when your nose points at the red light camera).

Here's a vid of me burning out, but this is that intersection where Soseductive's friend flipped. It's on the other side:

http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=FNCihDvJdqY

~Cheers~

P.S. If you see me, honk or something! I'm there all the time, too.

^ I saw you, too. I pointed out to my friend who was with me that you were on the boards, haha. Yeah, I have the Inspire grill, badging, rainguards and tails. My turn signals are *almost* the Inspire ones, jut that instead of an amber cap, I have an amber bulb, haha.

I spot cars quick, haha. I was first spotted by someone on the boards at night while making a U-turn! Well, at the time it was easy to spot me at night. Bright HIDs, spinning parking lights, yep, that's me, haha. I have people ask me if my HIDs are the 50w ones, I just say, nope, JDM.

~Cheers~

P.S.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

3.5 swapped, first and only. 1Gs came 2.5 and 3.5, and techically so did 2Gs but just not in the States.

I think he meant 3.2L as the 1G TL came with a standard 2.5L 5 cylinder (G25A1) and had an optional 3.2L V6 (C32A6 not, J32A1).

Sorry, that was a typo and this stupid 5 minute limit thing sucks, haha! Both engines were standard, really, but there were two levels on both cars, Base and Premium. I have the 3.2 Premium which is the heaviest one with all the options offered by the dealer.

It's auto, we only had auto... No space on the firewall for the clutch pedal, but I'm looking into Tilton pedal assemblies to go around that problem. I've got some things for VIP but I need suspension and tyres!!

Off the line you'd probably kill me. I spin like mad, haha. I raced a 1G 3.2 the other night and easing off the line, I pulled ahead in first gear and then spun from 5000 RPM to redline, haha. Caught traction in second and pulled away. That guy was a dick, though. When I said I loved his car, he gave me this sarcastic reply and tried to race me, which is what led to the above.

~Cheers~

I see what you mean, and I know the Accords were like that, but the actual names of the cars were different.

@iforyou, money is a problem, haha. I need an alignment, though. I didn't notice that I'm dragging the front left a bit until I did my brakes the night before last. It looks like negative camber wear even though the wheels are straight. Speaking of brakes, has anyone ever cracked their brake pads? I have! All four in the front were cracked in half and the rotors both had a big crack in them, along with a good twenty heat fractures each. Glad I finally changed those, hehe.

@TwinTurbo335, you should come out and kick it with us on Friday. If it weren't for it being Christmas, I would've told you to go eat Mexican with us on Tuesday, but they were closed.

~Cheers~

Rubio's! It's a weekly SupraForums meet that we hold on Tuesdays in Daly City. Friday and Saturdays we just kick it at a 24h Starbuck's. I don't get there until around midnight anyways, haha.

Problem with GH is the chance of other cars being there during the day and pedestrians...

I have an idea, haha. I was going to grab these BFGoodrich DRs for fun, but I think regular daily tyres are more important, and it wasn't too great of a deal! I'm just looking for light and soft-sidewalled tyres. If only we could get Playz tyres over here...

I had some shitty Kumhos on all of them originally, but I threw on a set of Federals in the front, burned those out, and now I'm on BFGoodys with the stock rims up front. Playz is a line from Bridgestone not available here. Quiet tyres with good grip. Relatively cheap, too.
