I had my 2006 Acura TL inspection here in New York. Attached to the inspection sheet was a recall notice. It states "prolonged high under-hood temperatures may cause the power steering hose to deteriorate prematurely causing the hose to crack and leak power steering fluid". Leak could generate smoke and possibly lead to an under hood fire. I had a leak to the hose and had it repaired at a local repair shop at my cost. Can I get a refund what it cost for the repair or have a whole line replaced free of charge at the dealership?
