Reasonable Asking Price

Hey folks, thinking of putting the TL up for sale, it has 64,xxx miles, is stock, 04, 6sp, Silver. Has some minor knicks that comes along with 64k miles worth of use, but is in pretty good shape, great tread on tires.

Thoughts?

Use kbb.com, nadaguides.com, and edmunds.com to get a multi-reference point for what your car should go for.

KBB is the highest of the 3, I believe that NADA and Edmunds offer something that is more realist to market value of a car (kbb is almost 5K more expensive for the car I am looking to get, so I'm not sure where they are getting their number from...)

nada is 14.9, edmunds is just under 12k, kbb is 15,375. all "good" ratings, though I think it is pretty close to "excellent". Would hopefully get 15k.

Thanks, more opinions welcome.

Place it in the Black Market section.

to be quite honest your prolly looking closer to high 13's to mid 14's

i just bought a 2006 TL 5AT with navi that had 45k miles for 15.5k from the dealer.

granted it wasn't from a Acura dealership it came from a Mercedes/infinity Dealership.

As stated above, you could list it in the black market section of the forum and see what interest you get from it at $15k.

If those sites are telling you between 13-15, you could probably get 14-14.5 for it.

Throw it up in the black market section for 15 with a link to lots of photos of it and see what interest you get out of it. You may be able to get the price you want for it while giving an Acura enthusiast the car they really are looking for...
