Rear wing Spoiler - Yes or No

I am thinking of installing a rear wing spoiler. Just wanted to get opinions here is it would look good, or would it screw up the shape of the car. (Stock spoiler available as OEM Accessory)

If there is an option to edit the poll, I would also put in decklid spoiler.

Go for it, got it on mine so personally I think it looks better with it. The decklid spoiler looks useless.

no wing!!!

i would go TL lip, TL-S lip, or nothing at all. i think the lip enhances the rear end, while the wing totally changes the back end. i guess it all depends what you like though, but most people here will probably say lip.

No wing. If anything, I think the decklid suits the car much better.

+6 for the Decklid... In my opinion, it makes the car look better.... plus it matches well with the A-Spec body kit if you wanted to go that route

I definetly say just a lip, anything else and you are turning the car into a civic, of course just my two cents, TL is a luxury sport sedan, keep that in mind, classy and sporty.

Great! Such a mixed opinion, but it seems like the option that most favor isn't even listed -- decklid spoiler

I vote for cls style either get it in carbon fiber and put it on or get it in fiberglass and paint that badboy

I like the OEM decklid spoiler best. It gives the car that sporty touch without over doing it.

I've always been a big fan of wing spoilers, all my cars have had them except my TL. Wing spoilers look good on the right kind of car. But it's heyday is done. Nowadays it does look sorts 90s......

Wing spoilers look OK on the TL, not bad. The Acura TL's design is really suited for a lip spoiler though. It just goes with it, just flows. Sporty and subtle. Just look at the trunk carefully, you'll see what I mean.

The only problem with the lip is that 90% of us have it.

OEM decklid spoiler. Gives it class without going obnoxious. One of the many Mods my TL will be seeing in the spring.

With all the comments and votes here, and particularly, the most important vote, from the wifey, I will go with the decklid spoiler. Now on to a bargain price search ....

I went with an ebay factory replica one. $108 painted and shipped. I'll post on the quality when it gets here. This will complete my TL in terms of exterior modifications.

Seller was "thespoilerstore" and he has a 99.8% feedback for 6685 transactions. I guess if I don't like it, I can always pull it off as it's not one that is screwed in.

Wing Spoiler helps when parking

I just installed an aftermarket wing spoiler on my WDP. Got it from eBay for around $70 plus shipping. Color is almost spot on and it looks like a factory install in my opinion.

The reason I decided to go with the wing over the lip type spoiler is that I find the rear-end of the TL difficult to see when backing up. The spoiler helps to define the end of the car so that you can judge distance when parallel parking.

Only thing I don't like is that the extra weight stops the trunk from lifting when you use the remote release. It just unlocks but doesn't lift up at all.

I think the 3G TL is one of those few cars that actually looks good with the lip spoiler, the wing spoiler or even without a spoiler at all! I chose to add the wing spoiler o my TL and I really like it...check it out.

Personally I like the lid without anything on it. That being said you can get new trunk lid springs from Acura that will lift it open.
