Has anyone installed a rear wing spoiler on a 2007 TL? How difficult is it? Is it something I should leave to those with experience(the dealer?)? Any thoughts or comments? Thanks.

 

I installed the wing spoiler on my '04 and it was extremely easy to install, provided you have the template that comes with the spoiler. I assume that it would go exactly the same on a base 07 TL? You just remove the cover on the underside of the trunk lid, place the template on top of the trunk lid and mark the two holes on each side, then drill the four holes.. From there it's basically just bolton.

As far as the trunk springs, I didn't have the tool to remove these and I didn't feel like messing with them so I had the dealer do those, but you don't really *need* them, your trunk lid just won't lift up that couple inches by itself when you hit the release.
