Question Rear Window Weather Strip??

It's Spring in New England so that means everything will have a nice yellow tint to it and eveyone's allergies are off the charts for awhile. I parked my car at work the other day under a flowering tree. I noticed that some of the petals (or pollenization thingy's) had settled in and around the seemingly open tracks around my rear window. When I look at the rear window of my car it looks like they forgot to put the black rubber weather strip around on my car. I saw another TL today in a parking lot and it was the same. I've driven in torrential down pours and washed my car a few times and haven't had any problems. It just seems odd.

Fair to assume everyone's car is like this?

Acura seems to attach our rear window into the back without using any seal or rubber. The rear window is apparently adhered very well, I guess.

Yes, my car is just like what you described above.
