Rear Spoiler Question
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7906497345
Anyone ever do buisness with these people? Looks like a good deal but I'd like to know if anyone has actually gotten a spoiler from this guy.
Thanks,
EZ

Never dealt with this guy but this spoiler is not OEM. Save yourself the possible headache and buy a spoiler from an eBay Acura dealer. It'll cost a little more now but you know what you are getting and with an Acura warranty.

He's a power seller with over 99% positive feedback, and 3rd party spoilers are perfect if you want to save a bit. Its the exact same thing you'll get from Acura, 99% the same at least, except not made by them. The Acura ones have a carved logo on the underside of the spoiler that you can see if you look under it or feel it, but thats about it. I think its worth a shot.

Let us know what he says about the deck lid type. I thought that was what i origanally wanted but wasn't sure. Now i'm leaning more towards the wing type.

I bought a spoiler for my girlfriends '03 Beetle from that guy. Excellent quality. Paint match was dead on. Came with all hardware and very good instructions.
I say go for it. The guy is legit and sells quality stuff.

Well, I ordered my spoiler from this guy for my 04. I'll let you all know how it goes. Talked to him on the phone... The name was Ron. Sounds like a nice Dude. He gives good customer service... giving me e-mails every step of the way. Got a confirmation e-mail that my card was charged ($188.75) and gave me an order number. Said I will get a tracking number when it ships via e-mail as well.

Just a thought... though he has pictures of plenty of acura silver cars. I'm sure he has done hundreds and many people call into him or go directly to his shop... so his e-bay sales only represent a drop in the bucket.
Anyhow, I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes.

Sure thing, will do. Sounds like they are finished upon request... Should get a tracking number within a few more days.

Deck Spoiler
I am extremely happy with the quality and paint match with the deck spoiler I had ordered from www.handaaccessories.com. They sell factory parts and the fit was perfect. I paid $315.00 for the spoiler and another 18.00 to ship to Denver 2 day Fedex. My installer commented on the quaality and fit of the spoiler, he charged me $50.00 to install. I am not sure about the guy that is selling the spoiler for $118.00, Id worry about the fit and quality. If there is anyone with one of these aftermarket deck spoilers and is happy with it let me know cause I could have saved a bunch of bucks.

We are talking about two different types of spoilers. The Deck lid spoiler is a very small item that hugs the trunk lid while the wing that we are talking about runs $394 change plus shipping on handaaccessories.com. Ron seems to have a good following, and I hope to report back the same when mine arrives tomorrow. Total cost was about $188 with shipping included. If this turns out to be as good as it looks in the shots provided by the fabricator, it will be a steal.

Spoiler is going to be a while... I was thinking it was New York... it's actually California. Was getting confused between this package and another I have on the way. But, it is on the way, none the less.

Whoops! It came today... the CA apparantly stood for Canada, _not_ California!! Pleasantly surprised!
Came Very well packed in several layers of bubble wrap and another type of foam packing/padding. All of this was bundled and packed inside a large cardboard box marked FRAGILE and PLEASE TOP LOAD. Needless to say, the packaging job was A-1.
Couldn't wait to get it open... so I did. After getting the bubble wrap off, and getting down the the final foam padding I could already smell the PPG which has yet to fully cure. (painted upon order) Got the finally layers off and WOW... what a beauty. This Ron guy sells premo stuff!!!
The Paint looks incredible. The surfaces of the clearcoat looks at least as good as the Acura factory finish and may very well be better. It is very, very smooth. There are no visible blemishes to speak of. This is a very professional product and the price is great! First look indoors (didn't get home until dark) tells me that the match of color is good. I will be able to tell more tomorow out in the daylight...
I will upload pictures shortly. I have to say I definately recommend this guy. If the TL spoiler is not on his ebay listings... call him, he has them.
