There is a DIY for this...it's copied out of the repair manual (I was so bored I actually searched
). It's in the suspension section of the garage. I'll know the interior on that car pretty good soon. For the first time with any car, I actually want to do performance mods before the stereo.

doh!- my gen2 doesnt have the behind the headrest bolts- sorry for missing that

As I have said in other threads, it seems easy because it actually is. But if you don't use the proper technique it can be a nightmare. The first time it took me nearly 3 hrs! Now I can do it in 10 minutes.
Remember the key here is once all the bolts are out then push DOWN on the lower seat cushion while you pull the tabs OUT. THEN it is unhinged so you can pull the seat cushion out. If you do it any other way the seat will not come out easily. I pulled up in frustration with gorilla strength and broke the tabs under there. Not too smart, but I had to learn my lesson.
