Rear door seals loose

Washed my car today for the 1st time and while drying it, I noticed that the rubber door seals above the aluminum scuff plate was pushed out from it's groove in the frame. This is the door seals that's not attached to the door but attached to the door opening of the car. Approximately 8 inches in length was loose so I just pushed it back in. Seems like it will probably come loose again in the future because of the perfect size used to go around the door opening and the tension created. Went to the other door and found that around 3 inches was loose too. Anyone else have this problem?

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

I have not had this problem, but is sounds like a QC miss at the factory. Take it back to the dealer for a fix before the weatherstripping gets damaged. I also like to use Areospace 303 protectant on them to keep them in great shape.

My seals were the same way, pushed them back on track and have not had any problems since.
