I'd be a little suspicious since it says no drilling required. I'm not sure how long an imitation lip spoiler will stay in place with just adhesive.

I believe that even the OEM decklid spoiler uses double side tape, hopefully the 3M stuff.

That it does, but it is also secured using two screws.

ebay deck lid spoiler

I bought a deck lid spoiler about a month ago on ebay frpom trim king. It looks great! color match is perfect! I have a SSM and the clear coat is right on. It did come with 3m double stick tape and was very easy to install. You need 2 people to install so you can line it up perfect on both sides. the same spoiler was 400 plus install at my local acura dealership.

Good Luck

poor quality compared to the acura piece, yes the acura one uses double sided "3m" tape, but also mounts with studs, your tape does not stick with ebay one and it will fly off and get run over by the car behind you

mine is warrantied for 48/50 also

Do you actually have one of these aftermarket spoiler? Seems like you're the only one who hates them with a passion.

no, but i have seen aftermarket stuff for years, and there is pretty much a reason its cheaper, aftermarket bumpers, sheet metal, you see aftermarket items cannot be made "exactly" like the oem (copyright) alot of times they may look all right, but hold them next to a factory item and you can see the differences, most insurance company's use aftermarket bumpers - crap, body lines are not allowed to line up "exactly" right, oem is oem, thats all i'm saying, i'm fortunate (or unfortunate) to have worked in the auto industry since i was 18, and have seen alot - this item might be better than most, but for the most part aftermarket is aftermarket

Guys you look into some things a little to much.....Believe me I am very picky and the spoiler from trim king looks great and fits great. They where very fast on shipping also...

The OEM spoilers are made by a guy just like trim king. You think Acura makes these spoilers.........NOT...There is a subcontracted company that makes them for them.

Trust me you will like it.........

yes but the spoiler is designed by acura, and it has to meet acura spects, plus acura paints it, i would rather have the studs instead of just a stick on, i did i have the factory spoiler, i'm also getting the factory ground fx kit

I understand what you are saying but I like I could take this spoiler off if I choose and no holes.......The 3M tape holds up to 130mph, so far so good.
