sub prob

no, it's not you. I have a pronounced, almost "chirpy" sounding squeak with moderate sub use, and once the bass really starts kicking it just goes straight to, uh, heck....anyone have any solutions besides dealer bi!!ching?

No...that's a dealer issue and they should really work to fix it. Let the board know if they don't/won't fix it.

Took 2 trips and car in shop 4 days to get mine fixed. Seems they tried padding it at first adn it came back in a week or so. There is not much clearance to get extra padding under the rea deck due to the short clips they use to secure the deck. Search for my other posts, but I have a demo CD that cause the buzz non-stop that I gave the tech to help fix my car. They liked it so much they called the other day and asked to geta few copies, since every TL they put it in buzzes and it hekps them fix and verify the problme. I actually spent 2 hours with the tech on my car going over the deck. In the end I asked them to scrrw it down. 3 screws through the lip that wraps behind the back seta and then 2 2.5" screws on either side of the sub down to the metal shelf below. They dressed the top screws up with a screw cap thing that they had sprayed gray to match the back deck. So far it has ben over 2 weeks and I woudl say 99.9% fixed. Under extreme loud bass of a certain raneg I barley hear a small buzz, but it is very rare, compared to the non-stop buzz before.
