Rear Deck Lid Spoiler

Does anyone know how these are put on - and what keeps the water out of the trunk after drilling the holes? Dealer did mine - seems great - just kinda surprised not to see any water in my trunk - is there a seal or gasket that goes on with it? Just curious.

there is a built in foam rubber washer that sits around the bolt on the wing so that when the bolt is tightened, a seal is made
