Rear bumper replacement?

Someone damaged my car in the parking lot. Despite my opinion that this should be covered by my comprehensive policy, my ins. co thinks this is collision damage (they define it as any damage that was done by another car). Since it's a hit and run, the other car isn't around to pay. My collision deductable is high enough that I think this whole bill will come out of my pocket.

I therefore need a new rear bumper cover for my 2004 TL / AT (silver). I also need the backup sensors reinstalled, which hopefully the body shop won't charge me much extra for. I've been given a quote of about $308 for the part, unpainted, and about $375 to paint it. Anyone have a cheaper/better idea?

Names of reputable body shops in the palo alto, ca region are welcome too.

Tim Poliniak of Hond quoted me a Rear Bumper for a 2004 TL at $ 231.18 with free shipping in the U.S.

You can search the Acura parts catalog for others parts you might need.

A very good shop that I can recommend is in Newark, about 30 minutes from Palo Alto. Its pretty close to my house. My friend knows the owner. Very honest and legit guy. Owner's name is Tony. Tell him Khyber (pronounced KAI-BER) sent you. All the guys there are certified. For the quality of work he does, his rates are extremely competitive. For example, my friend's 2002 civic si had a fat dent in the quarter panel so we went to several top body shops. EMC Collision Repair quoted him over $1200. Campbell Auto Repair quoted him $1100. Tony's shop did it for $650. When the work was done, it looked better than the other quarter panel.

Good luck and let me know if I can be of any more help.
