u may get flamed for this because its not "real" ... i would say give it a shot if it looks just like the front then rock it. i wonder how long it will last though

Definitely with VQPower on this; I would stick with the stock appearance rather than throwing a caliper cover like than on my rear setup. The whole idea of a "big break caliper cover" is almost synonymous to "spinner" hubcaps.

If you're really looking for a different appearance, and have the time to properly do it, why not paint your rear calipers black.

bbk's are for non brembo, not point in getting bbk's when i have brembos, and i dont think they break their kit up between f/r

because im painting the fronts a different color, if i painted the rear the same it would look absolutely stupid. i just hate the way the rear caliper looks, doesnt matter what color u paint it. it does not look good with drilled/slotted rotors

I wouldn't. Just paint the rear ones black and they won't stick out.

ok but wheres the risk? ull know for sure how they will look after ur done, but if he does the covers , it could be something new that no one else has , or it could look

i say....take the risk, the worse that can happen is that they will look bad and no one will like them and you loose $30 , but at least you can say you took the risk, living life without any risk , is not living life at all

Hmmm I didnt know the AUTO type s had brembos up front. But you still have the regular one piston stock rear caliper that comes on all the TLs right?

If so, you can buy just the rear wilwood kit in black like mine for about 800$

Unfortunately they raised their price to 900

you know it would be a good investment, if i needed the fronts. but in reality, there is no sense in wasting 900 for rear brakes. thats 900 more i have for the turbo lol

If you get them remember they are "fake" and they will come with attention you might not enjoy like getting dissed for it, but unless you can take the heat do it. On my car all i did was painted the center of my drilled an slotted rotors and also painted the rear caliper black, havent gotten complaints on it and looks much cleaner than the bullshit surface rust that develops on there.

either way good luck with whatever you do

sign me up.

I have never seen anyone do it on here..try e-mailing them (http://www.calipercover.net/index.ph...icle&Id=326203) and ask them which specific model to buy just in case (they seem to be a universal fit). the installation seems fairly easy and straightforward, it's a nice look to the car to be honest my stock calipers piss me off - and no, I will not spend over a grand for a BBK on an acura TL - what should be done is upgrading rotors, brake pads, and brake fluid, that's all really anything more than that is seems unnecessary unless one is tracking their car in my opinion.

Have seen pictures of cars with the covers, look great so put them on.
I've said this before, some on this site slam the car, stretch tires, have poked tires, all types of body modifications along with light and paint mods, so why worry, do the installation. They've got to look better than the exposed, crappy rear calipers.
