Rear brake pads question

I have a 08 type s. Had it about 3 months now and loving it!!! Yesterday it started this loud metal on metal squealing noise. I mean it was really loud and almost ear piercing. At first it scared the hell out of me because I was not sure what it was. Iv had brake pads let me know they are worn out but on this car...Holy Chit!!! Anywho...I went and got new pads and noticed when changing them that the driver side pads of course were worn to crap but the passenger side had allot of meat left on them. I mean close to new. Any ideas as to why???? Of course I still replaced them along with 2 damn wheel studs that got cross threaded from the last guy who removed my wheels...ugh Ty

driver side caliper is sticking. either hose is crimped or caliper pistons seized.

pretty common for the rear to stick, dont forget to change your brake fluid every 4 years

Caliper slide pins could be sticking. Or the pad tips where the pad slides on the caliper need grease.

Silicone paste is the correct grease for sliding brake parts.

Anti seize is an example of the incorrect grease. So is general bearing grease, etc.
